Pri jeho vývoji vývojári kládli veľký dôraz na detaily a správnu geometriu. Cieľom bolo vytvoriť nástrahu s čo najrealistickejším vzhľadom a chodom, ktorá vyprovokuje k útoku aj opatrné ryby. Goliath bol totižto špeciálne navrhnutý na lov obozretných rýb, ktoré už boli niekoľkokrát ulovené. Nožičky, pancier, oči a žihadlo v zadnej časti výrazne zvyšujú účinnosť nástrahy Goliath. Realistický, do detailov prepracovaný dizajn má význam najmä v komerčných vodách, kde sú ryby kvôli zvýšenému rybárskemu tlaku veľmi opatrné. Použitie unikátnej zmesi s výraznou a dlhotrvajúcou syrovou arómou zaisťuje, že tejto nástrahe neodolá ani najobozretnejšia ryba. Vhodná na tečúce aj stojaté vody.
